Lisa Marcelino, PhD, LMFT is the founder of Marcelino Therapy Services, LLC. Lisa is an honors graduate of Kean University and Nathan Weiss Graduate College, and currently holds six college degrees: an Associates of Arts in Psychology, a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology, a Bachelor's of Arts in Sociology, a Masters of Arts in Psychological Services and Behavioral Sciences, a PhD in Psychology, and a Professional Diploma in Marriage and Family Therapy. Lisa is licensed to practice Marriage and Family Therapy in New Jersey and Hawaii. Lisa is a member of Psi Chi Psychology National Honors Society, NJAMFT, and Division 35 of the American Psychological Association and is a Clinical Fellow of the AAMFT. Lisa is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). Lisa has served in many capacities throughout her life, including volunteer positions, behavioral specialist for mentally and physically disabled clients, professional writer and editor, investigator, professor of psychology and sociology, mentor, advocate, fundraiser, philanthropist, activist, recreational therapist, program director and area director. On April 6, 2015, Lisa Marcelino was honored at Kean University for her unwavering efforts and support of Kean University's student-athlete scholars. Lisa's varied work and volunteer experiences and professional merits have enabled her to successfully understand and work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
